Susanne Shaver lives in Queens, New York, with her husband and two cats. She was born in 1967. That makes her almost 40 years old, which is outrageous, because she doesn't feel a day over 17. Susanne likes to draw pictures and write stories when she is not slaving away for The Man. Before she started working for The Man, she studied for a long time. Such a long time, in fact, that her mother was constantly asking her why wasn't she smart enough yet. She studied many things, but mostly German and Art History.

Susanne is currently hard at work on the first issue of a minicomics series called "Kitchen Table Comix" that will feature short graphic fiction and true-life tales of fun and horror. She decided to call the series "Kitchen Table Comix" because where she grew up, in Texas, one of the best places to hear and tell stories was around the kitchen table. Also, until the recent purchase of a fancy new drawing table, Susanne actually drew her comix at the kitchen table.
